To celebrate the 35th anniversary release of the American Eagle coin, the US Mint has issued a second coin for 2021. The new coin comes with a brand new obverse, designed by Jennie Norris and features a zoomed image of the iconic eagle.

The 2023 1/4 oz Gold American Eagle marks the 38th anniversary of the coin and this year only the Jennie Norris design has been released.
